How can we bridge the skill & knowledge Gap of what education institution provides and the industry demands from candidates?

In our day-to-day life, we can see how industry and technology are advancing rapidly. Many industries are migrating from human dependent works to machine automated work because as per the rapidly increasing population industry also wants skilled laborers who can efficiently do multiple tasks at a time. If the industry doesn’t find such laborers then they migrate to machines, AI for such automated work. New technologies are coming into the market but to operate that technology we still need to call experts from other countries because our country has talented people but not skilled people. Our country's people have knowledge but they don’t know where and how to utilize that knowledge. Because our education system focuses on theory more than practical. Still, our education system is following the old traditional education system of reading about history, other scientist failures and success, and other people's achievement whereas other country education system focuses on student skills development whereas our education system focuses on reading an old syllabus textbook, learn the textbook lines just for getting certificate because our education system mainly focuses on theory part more to pass government exams for a secure job. But, in other countries, their education system focuses on student skills development by supporting and enhancing their practical knowledge by providing certificates based on their practical project through which students really get to learn that technology.

In our country students wake up at night to complete their homework or to learn the theory to pass the theoretical exam whereas in other countries students wake up at night to build their project, build their dream, to enhance their practical skills.

Our country's education system needs to upgrade itself according to industry standards. The education system needs to balance the level of theory and practical. Even our education ministers should be elected based on their knowledge and skills through an exam and practical demonstration. Education ministers should not be part of any political party.

To fulfill the skills & knowledge gap in our educational institution and to fulfill the industry candidate demands, the education system needs to change the old syllabus with a modern syllabus instead of judging students based on theoretical knowledge, the student should be judged based on practical knowledge. Schools and colleges should call a person who is working in the real-world industry for the seminar so that students' practical exposure can be increased, and students can know what is going on in the real world. Schools and colleges should make industry visits for students. The teacher should be trained by industry experts so that they can deliver such modern, industry knowledge to students. With the development and enhancement of education and teacher skills, the skill & knowledge gap can be fulfilled efficiently which will automatically lead to the skill development of the student. Later on, such skilled students will contribute to the development of industries within the country which will lead to the growth of the country's economy.
