We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a senior officer, vendor management. in this role, you will play a pivotal role in the growth and success of our car rental company by managing relationships with vehicle owners, negotiating pricing, and ensuring the availability of high-quality vehicles for our rental fleet.

Job Description

Vendor Identification and Assessment:

Conduct thorough research to identify potential vendors offering quality vehicles suitable for our rental fleet.
Evaluate vendor capabilities, reliability, and adherence to quality standards.

Negotiation and Deal Finalization:

Engage in negotiations with vendors to secure favorable pricing and terms.
Collaborate with vendors to finalize agreements that align with the company's objectives and cost-effectiveness.

Quality Assurance:

Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure that the vehicles provided by vendors meet our standards for safety, cleanliness, and performance.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of vendor-supplied vehicles.

Contract Management:

Develop and manage contracts with vendors, outlining terms, conditions, and service level agreements.
Monitor and enforce compliance with contractual obligations.

Relationship Management:

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors to foster collaboration and address any issues promptly.
Act as the primary point of contact for vendor-related inquiries and concerns.

6. Operational Efficiency:

- Work closely with the operations team to streamline processes related to vehicle acquisition, maintenance, and retirement.
- Implement measures to optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Bachelor's degree
5+ years proven experience in vendor management, procurement, or a similar role within the automotive or rental industry.
Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving favorable terms and pricing.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze market trends and make data-driven decisions.
Familiarity with legal and compliance aspects of vendor contracts.
Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards.
