We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vendor Manager to join our team. The Vendor Manager will play a crucial role in managing and nurturing relationships with our network of suppliers, ensuring the consistent availability of high-quality products on our platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vendor management, negotiation skills, and a passion for driving business growth.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Key Responsibilities:*
1. *Vendor Relationship Management:* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers, acting as the primary point of contact for all vendor-related inquiries and issues.
2. *Vendor Onboarding:* Lead the onboarding process for new suppliers, including negotiating terms, setting up contracts, and guiding them through the platform setup process.
3. *Product Portfolio Management:* Work closely with suppliers to ensure the timely and accurate listing of products on the Vistaar Trade platform, monitoring inventory levels, pricing, and product information.
4. *Quality Control:* Implement and maintain quality control standards for listed products, ensuring that all items meet our quality requirements and comply with relevant regulations.
5. *Performance Monitoring:* Track and analyze vendor performance metrics, such as product sell-through rates, customer satisfaction, and on-time delivery, and work with underperforming vendors to improve their performance.
6. *Negotiation:* Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms for Vistaar Trade.
7. *Market Research:* Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new vendor opportunities and optimize the product assortment.
8. *Collaboration:* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Operations, to align vendor strategies with overall business objectives.

WHO CAN APPLY :

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience (3+ years) in vendor management, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in a B2B or e-commerce environment.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data and draw actionable insights.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with vendor management software or ERP systems is a plus.
