DESCRIPTION :

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of Mavorion's network and services, as well as customer networks and services. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in IT operations, network management, and technical troubleshooting. This role involves performing maintenance, updates, configurations, and providing technical support across various systems and services.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Network and Service Operations:

  • Perform day-to-day operations of Mavorion's network and services.
  • Manage and maintain regular maintenance, updates, and upgrades.
  • Configure, manage, monitor, and ensure the security of systems and services.

Customer Network Operations:

  • Perform day-to-day operations of customer networks and services.
  • Ensure smooth functioning, regular maintenance, and troubleshooting as needed.

Documentation and Support:

  • Create and maintain flowcharts and diagrams of systems and networks.
  • Develop and update installation manuals, user manuals, and technical documentation.
  • Provide technical support to users both on-site and remotely via email, phone, etc.

Technical Expertise:

  • Possess good technical skills in areas such as scripting, programming, coding, and various operating systems.
  • Familiarity with PC, Mac systems, mobile operating systems, and Linux/Unix.
  • Experience with databases (MySQL, Microsoft SQL, or PostgreSQL), remote software, cybersecurity, virus protection, and backup software.
  • Proficiency in network monitoring software and LAN/WAN configurations.

Issue Resolution and Reporting:

  • Troubleshoot problems reported by users, coordinating across departments and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Maintain a ticketing system with regular updates, monitoring, and feedback.
  • Provide regular updates on activities and project progress to your supervisor.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with senior leadership and colleagues at all levels.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Relevant training and experience will also be considered.
  • Technical proficiency in scripting, programming, coding, various operating systems, cybersecurity, and network management.
  • Knowledge of database systems, remote software, backup software, and LAN/WAN configurations.
