Responsibilities:

• Carefully review and correct written content, including documents, articles, educational materials, and promotional materials, for errors in grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting.
• Verify the consistency and coherence of the content, ensuring it adheres to the company's guidelines and standards.
• Collaborate with the content team and writers to address any issues or questions related to the text.
• Identify and suggest improvements to enhance the overall quality and readability of the written materials.
• Proofread both digital and print materials to meet publication deadlines.
• Maintain a keen eye for details and a thorough understanding of the target audience to ensure effective communication.
• For the Proofreader (Nepali) role, proficiency in Nepali language and script is required to accurately proofread content in Nepali.

Qualifications:

• Strong command of the English language for the Proofreader (General) position.
• Proficiency in Nepali language and script for the Proofreader (Nepali) position.
• Proven experience as a proofreader or in a related role is an advantage.
• Excellent grasp of grammar, punctuation, and language mechanics.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Familiarity with style guides such as AP, Chicago, or MLA is preferred.
• A degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is a plus.
